I paint resin Model kits for companies and private collectors. The kits come in many bare resin pieces. I then clean up and assemble them.
After the assembled kit is sprayed with a coat of primer, I paint all the colors onto the figure. Most of these are my own color designs. Unless its a movie character, then I use photo reference pictures. I have also sculpted a few kits, such as the Host creature and the little Audrey plant.

Hi, I read in alot of places about a great painter named Joe Dunaway, Than I thought how can anyone be better than mangagrasshopper I've been following for quitte some time. Now I've discovered you're the man himself XD. Should've known :P.

On a more seriouse note. I'm very interested in sculpting predators and possibly make kits like the famous Narin (with alot of practice). But I'd also love to learn how to paint a little like you do. But I have no idea where to start! Do you have some advice where I should start my journey on painting predator sculpts? Which ofcourse can be applied to other characters. Any must have books or maybe some good online tutorials?

I'd appreciate some advice, but all I am able to do now is paint with acrylics by hand.

lol...thanks and yep MG is me here on DA.
As for painting, I recommend you get an airbrush and practice with it...it changes everything.
as for books....Amazing figure modeler can help.
